Maged Elkashlan received the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 2006. From 2007 to 2011, he was with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) Australia. During this time, he held visiting appointments at University of New South Wales and University of Technology Sydney. In 2011, he joined the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London.
Dr. Elkashlan currently serves as Editor of IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology. He received Best Paper Awards at IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) 2016 and 2014, the International Conference on Communications and Networking in China (CHINACOM) 2014, and the IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC-Spring) 2013.
